Firstly, thanks so much for reading!
You amazing humans who take the time to read my missives have a role to play in the success of this blog. You are more than welcome to come, read and leave again in a tap-it-and-gap-it type style, but if you could help a sister out and do one or more of the following, I'd be thrilled!
Something else you need to know is I don't 'advertise' all of my posts on Facebook, so it gives you a more direct link to the action as it happens, and means you don't miss a chapter of the rocking, racing, amazing, stopping-at-every-station life that we have going on here (normally - we should be in Scotland rn).

Apparently Dublin is home to a great many aspire writers and artists - with your help, I might be one of them. |
#1 - Subscribe
I have actually had time to have a play with my blog and have figured out how to get a fancy subscribe gadget to the side, just to the right.
It is as simple as inserting your email there, and then you will get notified about every post I create!
Trap for young players: Make sure you find the 'confirm your subscription' email squirrelled away in the deep dark depths of your hundreds of unread emails, and actually confirm it, or no Lauren-loving for you.
#2 - Leave A Comment
Comments are validating on a personal level, but they also serve to help others find the blog, and when I get enough of a groundswell of support, that goes towards helpful stats that could encourage monetising the blog and leading in the future to being paid for my writing.
I really like hearing from you and your honest thoughts on what I've compiled. I put these posts out into the vast expanse of nothingness that is the internet, in the hope that they're vaguely interesting to someone more than just me.
I thrive off divergent opinions, so if you disagree, then don't be shy to say so, or if you just think I'm a bit off the mark, I'm happy to hear that too. Obviously, if you just want to sing my praises from the keyboard, I'm also OK with that.
#3 - Share it with Discerning Individuals
There's no pressure here, but if you think it worthy, helpful or relevant, please do feel free to pass it on.
#4 - PM Me Your Email Address
Alternatively, I can subscribe you from the back-of-house settings. Feel free to email me your email, if you're wanting to subscribe, but you're not sure how. I just pop your email in this handy box I have and then each time I publish something, you get a copy of it straight to your inbox - you lucky thing, you!
Same deal: Make sure you find the 'confirm your subscription' email or there will be a lot of FOMO on your part.
I started this blog to inform you all that we were still alive and well, and to provide help to anyone that might be thinking of moving to Ireland, and mentally prepare them for the obstacles they're likely to face.
It started as merely a recount of our adventures, but has become home to my musings about life in general, and looks like it will continue to be both for awhile yet. I'm excited to see where it progresses to, as it has unlocked this yearning to write inside me that has been kept under wraps for quite some time now.
Thanks for coming on this journey of discovery with me, and for your support and encouragement along the way.
Hey Lauren, good tips thanks. Pretty sure I’m already subscribed to your blog. But good to check. I’m enjoying the format much more than on Facebook as it’s easy to miss an episode that way. Keep up the good work. Xx M
ReplyDeleteI agree, it's so easy to miss things on Facebook - so I've just subscribed! PS - Your tip for younger (and I'm going to count myself as younger here, haha) readers is spot on. Great prompt to check for the subscription confirmation e-mail. 👌
